lightsoutfinance.net is a static site served via Cloudflare Pages. It sets no cookies, embeds no advertising, and uses no cross-site tracking. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; if privacy-preserving, cookie-free web analytics are enabled (Cloudflare Web Analytics), they measure aggregate page views without identifying visitors.
When you complete any assessment instrument (the Maturity Index, the Close & Controls Pulse, or the Autonomy Readiness Check) and choose to submit your result to the benchmark, the following is stored: which instrument you took, your answers and computed result, the page you arrived from, and — only if you choose to provide them — a role, a company-size band, an industry, a region, and an email address. If you leave an email, you also receive your own result by email. The email is used solely to share benchmark results with you and is never published, sold, or shared. If — and only if — you tick the separate, optional contact checkbox, the editor may additionally contact you once about your result and related work; leaving it unticked keeps your email strictly report-only.
What is never stored: your IP address, your name, your employer, or any device identifier. Geographic context is limited to a coarse country code supplied by the hosting platform. Submissions are anonymous by design and published only in aggregate (for example, median maturity by industry).
Paper distribution runs through LinkedIn’s newsletter platform; subscription data there is governed by LinkedIn’s own privacy terms. This site holds no subscriber list of its own.
Subscribing on the homepage stores exactly one record: your email address, the subscription timestamp, and a coarse country code — used solely to send new papers and the survey report. No tracking, no sharing, no resale. Unsubscribe any time by emailing [email protected]; the record is deleted.
To have a survey submission containing your email removed, email [email protected] with the approximate submission date; the record will be deleted from the store. Reach the editor at [email protected] for privacy questions, data export, or deletion requests.
